The Fundamental Concept “Leading with vision, inspiration & integrity” states that “Excellent organisations have leaders who shape the future and make it happen, acting as role models for its values and ethics”. The Fundamental Concept continues by portraying the profile of the role model leader. But what do EFQM members perceive to be the key traits and the key skills and behaviours of (their) leaders? How do they help their people grow these skills, how do they identify suitable leaders and ultimately how do they prepare leadership practices for the megatrend storm that approaches?
